Appointed and cared by the government, as a national, important folklore material number 236(28th December, 1999), this village is located underneath Seolhwa Mountain, Songak-myeon, Asan city. Up to now, Yae An Lee family, who moved to Oeam-ri Folk Village about five hundred years ago, has been living in power. There were born many outstanding men from the Lee family, so big houses were being built. Mossy stone walls keeping the old features from the houses tells us the history of the village.

The lifestyle of Chosun Dynasty is seen from fruit trees planted in every yard of the houses, Jang Seung(Korean totem poles) in the entrance of the village, treadmill, millstone, watermill and thatched roof and also preserved. Apart from these, many folk remains are handed down.
